Decimals and the use of DVW connector to run SAP reports

Dear all,

I'm designing a workflow using the DVW connector with SAP.

We noticed that the output can change depending on the person running the workflow due to different SAP configuration.

1.234.567,89
or
1,234,567.89

Is there a formula we can use to assure we always have the correct amounts as fixed decimals even if the file send to Alteryx from SAP could be using both "," or "." as decimals point

Yes - there is a setting - but I can't remember if it's in ECC on the report side or in the connector. @darronwalton 

And yes - I've been there with the ./, switching - and the m-d-yyyy to d-m-yyyy.

Is the setting separate from the Alteryx User Settings below?

@ChrisTX - yes. the underlying data in the SAP report isn't localized for the user so there's a conflict. @Nicolaas_Vercruyse - you can try setting up decimals/amounts in user profile in the Netweaver/RFC. If you are running the reports through service account you'd need to set up that too...
