Date now -7

I have a workflow that runs once a week. The data appends to a excel sheet and stacks itself. I am trying get the filter tool to run that day the data is pulled plus 7 days back every week. Any help would be appreciated. Also I don't have any time in the column, so do I also need to build the formula in a way that excludes time?

Hi @Plewis1 ,

so you need a formula to get the current date - 7 days? This should work: DateTimeAdd(DateTimeToday(), -7, "days"). DateTimeToday() returns today's date, and DateTimeAdd calculates the respective day of last week. Does this help?

[DATEFIELD] >= DATETIMEADD(DATETIMETODAY(),-7,"days")

It says parse error. I have my field name and then your formula. I believe I have to put a symbol in between the field and the formula right? If so which one?

I tried yours and now I don't have any data coming out of the TRUE anchor on the filter tool. Only the FALSE anchor.

Hi @Phill ,

I think, you could add a second condition to the filter statement to exclude today, it would look like this:

[Date] >= DateTimeAdd(DateTimeToday(), -7, "days")
AND
[Date] < DateTimeToday()

The first part selects all days starting last week, the second part limits it to all days before today.
