Date is converting incorrectly after Parse

Question

Hi. I am having an issue with a date that is formatting incorrectly after parsing.

The original field contained 9/11/21-9/13/21. I parsed it to 2 new fields and then used a Data Cleansing tool to auto format the date as YYYY-MM-DD .

However, one of the dates is switching all of the characters around so it is showing as if the date is November 21 2009 instead of September 11 2021.

How do I fix this issue?

Agreed with @Garabujo7 , you can use Date Time tool.

Hello @slawrie5 , have you tried to use the date/time tool to convert the date to a date field .
