Date formula for start of year

Hi, I have a Transaction Effective Date in my Excel file. I would like it to always return Transaction Effective Date between 'start of the current year' to 'last day of prior month' whenever I run the workflow. How do I do it? My data type is Date. Thank you.

Hi @BJSOON,

you want to set the date to first day of current year or first day of the transaction year or the last day of previous month (previous to reporting date I guess)?

Anyway, I've attached a workflow with the different date calculations you may need. Hope this is helpful.

hi @BJSOON,

not sure to fully understand what you need, but based on a date, you can use a couple formulas to get other dates, find aworkflow attached.
