Date format changed once file is saved in SAS

Has anyone run into a date format issue where the file in Alteryx is yyyy-mm-dd (correct format) and once you save it as .sas7bdat so SAS can consume the file, the date format changes to mm-dd-yy? Is there a way we could have it not change?

Hi @blitz45 

 

How are you viewing the file?  After input to SAS?  SAS date values are stored as doubles so your viewer has to apply a format to display it to you.  You can see that the date value is not altered by reading in the output file in Alteryx.
