Database Input - get definition of stored procedure

I want to use the Alteryx input tool to get the definition of a stored procedure in a database (but not run the stored procedure). When I run this statement in Toad, I get a single cell that contains exactly the string I need. When I put in in my input tool, there is no error, but I get 0 results. Does anyone know how I can make this work, or a different way to get the definition of the stored procedure?

SELECT definition
FROM sys.sql_modules
WHERE object_id = object_id('stored procedure name')

Hi -

I don't have an answer, but wanted to note that I am having a similar problem.  As I was researching/hoping to answer your question, I found that the same thing is happening to me.

If I simply use a SELECT-FROM statement, I get data returned to the input tool:

select user_views.TEXT,
user_views.VIEW_NAME
from user_views

If I add a WHERE clause, e.g.

WHERE user_views.VIEW_NAME = 'ACTUAL_SUM_VIEW'

I get NO rows returned.  I have validated that the row does, indeed, exist.

Hopefully somebody has an answer.

Mark
