I'm trying to put together an Alteryx workflow which I can use on a regular basis which can serve as a standard for the QA of data contained in Excel files rather than carrying out the QA in Excel before transferring over to Alteryx.

Any help with this will be appreciated.

@Thableaus: When I connect my data, the output of the dates come out as false in the match_date_format field. The dates are fine in Excel. Please help me understand.

I'd need to see a sample of your data to understand what's going on.

RegEX will not work for every situation, you need to understand data and patterns.
