Data Duplicating in another Field

Question

Hi,

I have a few fields with data in my workflow that are blank (do not have any data), but I want to keep them. I have data from another Field column being duplicated into these blank fields. Any idea why this might be happening? Example attached below. The data is only supposed to be populating in the Division field but it's pulling into the Hire Date field as well.

Its hard to know without looking at the workflow. Can you share the workflow and the input with some dummy data?
