DCM Error related to connection options (Schema 'connection/database-odbc-dsn-bigquery'..)

Using Designer version 2023.2, I am unable to set up connections using DCM. I can define a data source, but when trying to link credentials, there are no options to create, and an error message appears that says:

Schema 'Connection/database-odbc-dsn-bigquery' is not valid. Try to re-install used plugin or contact Customer Support.

Has anyone seen this error before? I have no problem creating DCM connections with 2024.2 non-admin.

This is the workaround we got from Alteryx support.

• Navigate to either of the following two directories, depending on if you have the admin or nonadmin version of Designer: 
• C:\Program Files\Alteryx\bin\RuntimeData\DcmSchemas\Connections
• C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Alteryx\bin\RuntimeData\DcmSchemas\Connections
• Locate the database-odbc-dsn-big query json file
• Move this file to your desktop or any other directory
• Retest your DCM
