Agreed. I have MS Windows set to dark mode.. So its pretty blinding to have a bright white Alteryx window floating among all the black.

I've recently updated my canvas settings to combat the brightness and I'm very pleased with the results so far. I've always used a battleship grey canvas because any darker, the contrast is lost but that was until I realised you could change the colours of lines etc.Here's an example workflow with my canvas settings:

Nice, thanks for pointing it out! Though i think that also adds some eye-straining contrast with the light coloured windows docked around it

Nice to see it in Beta. A dark mode scheme closer to Discords dark mode would be ideal. This is very dark!
They don't do anything by half, @cjaneczko - the light mode is very white! I know what you mean about the darkness but I think the main thing is actually converting all the elements that are still light mode (tool settings etc.) because it's the contrast between the two that makes the dark elements look even darker.I've had a couple of DMs about how to enable dark mode, go to User Settings > Customisation:
Please make it happen staring at a white page makes me icky at 5am!
Your settings for the canvas work well. I did convert all the other elements over. It blends in pretty good. They should consider toning it down a bit with the black lol. A darker grey would be more appealing, similar to the lower screenshot.
@atwark - it has happened (in Beta). You need to download Designer 2023.1 and go to User Settings > Customisation.
