Hi all!

Thank you so much for your help in advance.

Basically, I wanted to create a new column based on filters+data in the next row. I attached the original data and results hopefully to achieve.

Can you please help? Thank you all so much!!!!

Hi @Emmm ,

It is a typical use case of Transform / Cross Tab.

You may want to check the Tool Mastery page for the tools.

Here is one way. Hope this helps.

Thank you @Yoshiro_Fujimori ! I noticed that my version of Alteryx did not have the yellow with equal sign function - is there any other functions that I can use to replace that one?

Hi @Emmm

You do not need the tool (Expect Equal) as it is a test tool which checks if the actual output is the same as the expected output.

You can just ignore it and use the output anchor of the last Select tool.

But I recommend you get the Expect Equal tool (and other CReW macros) sooner.

Check this discussion page for

https://community.alteryx.com/t5/General-Discussions/What-tool-is-this-on-Alteryx-Diamond-shape-Yell...

And now you can get the Expect Equal tool from Alteryx Marketplace.

Good luck.

Thank you so much @Yoshiro_Fujimori !

I thought it was because of the (expect equal) tool causing the issue that I was not able to view your workflow details? Please see pictures attached below - I'm not sure what was selected for transpose/cross tool?

I downloaded the file I attached below and ran it again. It worked on my pc. Interesting...

Do you update the input data?

If so, please check if the column name is exactly the same (including the spaces).

FYI, the configuration of each tool is as below.
