Creating Record_ID based on the Hierarchy level

IMSL_0-1671119915922.png

for example, if the hierarchy level is A, then the first 2 digits in the Record_ID should act as a level A counter. Therefore, first time that the hierarchy level A appears in the list, then record ID should be 01.00.00 and second time it should be 02.00.00. The same logic for level B and C...

Hey @IMSL,

With some multi row formulas you can achieve this:

If you want to learn more about the Multi-Row-Formula Tool the community has some quick and easy videos on the topic here: https://community.alteryx.com/t5/Interactive-Lessons/Multi-Row-Formula/ta-p/82872
