Creating Optimized Zip Code Clusters

Hi - I have the Alteryx location insights package and a dataset that provides a list of 1) zip codes, 2) # customers and 3) zip code area in sq ft. I was wondering if anyone had ideas for how I could then use Alteryx to pull together bigger clusters of zip codes that maximize the # of customers and minimize the total area -- initial thoughts involve also pulling in a sort of customer density metric?
