Create thickness (trade areas) for a line

Hi,

I am wanting to create a “trade area” for some geospatial lines, however that tool only works for geospatial points.

That is for every line create a polygon around the line which is 2km wide. Note these are not straight lines and have multiple bends.

I think the buffer tool is what you are after. It will allow you to capture area around a line.
