CountIF for greater than numbers

Need help for workflow of COUNTIFS where in the count of values above 2 is required based on Names.

Below solution would be: A with a count of 2 values greater than 2, B with a count of 2, C with a count of 0

For eg:

Name	Value
A	2.5
B	4
C	1.1
A	1.5
A	1.2
A	3.7
B	4.4
C	1.1
