Convert part of the workflow to macros

Question

Hi all,

Please refer to the workflow attached. I would like to convert workflows under Container 11 and 14 as 2 separate macros so that they could be reused in other workflows. I have not use macros before. Could someone show me how to achieve that?

Hi @tww

simply copy the tools over to a new canvas, and add in a Macro Input and Macro Output tool at the start/end

Ignore the error that the Macro Input gives, and in the settings for that tool untick Show Field Map.

Save it and then insert the macro into your workflow, connect up to input and output and it should work for you
