Conversion Errors: Fix or Ignore? What's the Best Practice?

Hi all,

I have the following errors from three fields from my data source.

 

Now, I don't want "TBA" to be in file, I actually do want it to be 0. 

Should I just leave the conversion errors because it gives me what I want or should I try to correct it with another tool?

MarqueeCrew say, "Eliminate all errors and warnings" if at all possible.

ToNumber([FP Count],1)

as a formula will ignore the error and convert TBA to 0.

My rationale is simple.   These messages might mask real problems should they exist.
