Contract the Polygon and Take Buffer

Hi there,

I got the data of a polygon and I would like to take a contracted buffer of it by running the workflow below.

However, an extra line appears after creating the buffer.

It surprised me when I shrink the polygon by changing multiplier from 0.2 to any other numbers, like 0.21, the line disappears!

It works for all the other polygons so I think the workflow itself should be all right. I wonder if this is just a bug.

Buffer tool's issue is fixed at Designer version 2022.1.1.25127.

But I tried this workflow, I can confirm the same situation. I recommend to contact the Alteryx support.

@delilah, are you able to share the workflow (perhaps using a map input tool with a single drawn polygon) so I can take a look at replicating?

What version of Designer are you running?

I attached the workflow and my Alteryx version is 2021.4.2.
