Connection Error: M004 ODBC Driver Manager, SQLAllocHandle on SQL_Handle_ENV failed

Getting a connection error when attempting to edit a db connection. It is usually resolved when I restart Alteryx, but then only works a few times, then starts failing again, until a restart. Its very inconvenient, and annoying. How can I solve this?

This could be a simple fix by uninstalling the drivers and re-installing them.
