Connecting to Oracle Database runs forever and then gives a time out error

This is a problem that started recently, is there anyone who has experienced the same issue?

I consider re-installing Alteryx, but only as a last resort..

I installed the OBDC Simba driver, and tried to connect again,

but no luck, see the error below
