Connecting to Google Analytics and Exporting to Microsoft SQL server

Hi Everyone,

I am going to come right out and say that I am a complete and utter Alteryx newbie. I am trying to understand the limitations of Alteryx's Google Analytics connector. I am currently using Microsoft Power BI to store data from GA, but I am realizing that there are limitations and a database will be needed for the future. The problem I am facing with the GA connector in power bi is I can only have a total of 7 dimensions and 10 metrics per table. Will this also be the case with Alteryx? Another problem I am having with the GA connector in power bi is not being able to recognize unique sight visits.

I am wondering if streaming data into a Microsoft SQL server from GA with the Alteryx connector is a reasonable solution. We will need to store at least two years' worth of data in the database and do daily refreshes.

Thanks for your help

Hello @joshcorti

Thanks for reaching out!
This would actually be a great use of our Virtual Solution Center.

I would recommend going there to create this use case.

Thanks!
