Connecting PowerBI directly to Alteryx

Question

I am trying to use the PowerBI Output tool in Alteryx to connect PowerBI to Alteryx.

I need to either sign in via internet browser or provider authentication information. Either way, I believe this is something IT needs to do for me.

My question is: does anyone know what type of PowerBI I need to do this? I currently have PowerBI desktop.

@kpontarollo Yeah I just use the sign on method. Just to note though, you can only output to data sets you created using the Power BI Output Tool. Its a very silly limitation Microsoft made to Datasets created using the API.

Do you use the authentication method or the sign in online method?

I have Power BI Pro and can connect fine but I you should be able to publish datasets with Power BI (free), Its just the data size limit is all that changes.
