Hello everybody,
I am currently using Alteryx and pulling data from Snowflake. However when I click load in data and click on ODBC under "Snowflake" to connect to my ODBC driver. it brings me to a "Connection Manager" window instead of a "ODBC Connection" window where it asks for my username, password and "Data Source Name" (Screenshots attached).
I have the snowflake ODBC driver downloaded and successfully connected from my laptops ODBC 64 bit menu to Snowflake with all the correct information filled out. My question is what am I doing wrong in the process that wont allow Alteryx to recognize my ODBC connection, therefore not allowing me to log in with the credentials I filled out for the SnowflakeDSIIDriver.
What I need to appear to connect-
What is appearing-
Proof of successful ODBC connection

Uncheck “Use Data Connection Manager” in your input data tool!

I use manage connections in-db via advanced options and set up an In-DB connection.

For some reason it doesn't appear to be an option on the input data tool. Do you know how I could shut it off?

@maxwell123 are you on 2024.1? try the In-DB route.

If on 2024.1 is there no longer a way to directly connect Snowflake to an input data tool? IE I have to use the in-DB tool to connect it? Is there any way to simply configure an option somewhere that would skip the "Data Connection Manager" window?

sorry - I can't answer that. I don't use 2024.1 (or 2023. or really 2022). I can tell you I use In-DB. I like In-DB. For DCM can you hit new? can you leave you tag for ODBC 64 connection. can you leave name/password blank?
