Connect to Azure Data Lake best practices

Question

Hi, I try to connect to Azure data lake by Alteryx.  I found that Alteryx has input and output tools for Azure data lake but this is similar to import a text file into Alteryx.

For data visualization, has any recommendation for connect Azure data lake or I should connect to Azure data lake analytics / Azure Analysis Services / Azure HDInsight / Azure data bricks instead of connect data lake storage directly???

Would use Alteryx to push to the lake and then do the analytics to build the data model. then connect directly. Don't see the need to use azure services at extra cost when you already have Alteryx to build a fair amount of it.
