Connect In-DB Tool: Can't Connect to Other Tools

Hello, I am having difficulty using the Connect In-DB tool. I have connected to my SQL database and built a simple query (see image below). When I try to connect to another tool such as a select or browse, I get an "x" on the connection line and it will not draw a connection line.

When I try and run the workflow, it doesn't say any errors and there is no data output from the tool and no errors.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi @cjmason105 ,

you can connect this tool to other IN-DB tools only (having the same blue input/output anchor). If you want to use other "Non-IN-DB" tool, you have to use a Data Stream Out tool - you see a green output anchor, now you can connect to other tools.

Btw.: There is a Browse IN-DB tool you could use.

You have to add a data stream out

As @RolandSchubert & @messi007 mentioned those are 2 methods. If you go through the video you will understand how exactly can these powerful tools be used.
