I am working with some confidential information. 

Would this information be exposed in any way if I were to upload it to Alteryx to continue with my data wrangling?    Thanks.

By " upload it to Alteryx " you mean you will process the data with Alteryx Designer?
If that is the case, I dont we need to worry since the data will not be uploaded to anywhere by the Alteryx Designwe.
Of course Alteryx Server is another story.

As above, if you are running through Alteryx Designer, all the data is staying on the machine where Alteryx Designer installed (most likely your laptop).

Similar with Alteryx Server, if you have this licensed and installed in your organisation it's going to stay on that server itself.

If you are uploading to here or gallery.alteryx.com that's in the public domain.
