Comparing Dates from two different files

Hi,

I'm trying to take two input files, one file where i'll change the Date manually.

I wanted to compare the COB Date_Derived in COB Date file with the other input Settle date.

I tried to join & compare COB Date_ Derived & Settle date but the column COB Date_Derived is showing Null when joined, so unable to join

what is happening is that there is no date of 2023-06-23 in Dates.xlsx alias this is a future date.

he will still join

the maximum date is 2023-06-01

I think the reason why you get "Null" is because the dates in your file are not in the correct date format.

The dates in your Excel file are not in the date format that Alteryx recognizes. You should convert it to YEAR-MM-DD format. 

You can do this easily with "DateTime" tool.
