Compare Excel Files, Result in colored cells

Hi All,

I have seen this been asked over many times, but I am not getting anywhere with coloring the cells.

Premise: There are 2 files generated from 2 different sources, The files will be same, testing 2 different ETL tools here.

Just need to compare both the outputs and highlight the cells where the data is different. Thats all.

I am attaching my workflow, need some help here in proceeding in the right direction.

You need to use find and replace tool to get all the data in single dataset. This will make 2 columns for each column you want to compare.

Then use table tool and create row level rule in table tool to highlight the cell if column1 != column2.

You would need to apply the formula in each column you want to compare and color.

I used Join to get all the data together. So that is there. I am only unable to color the cells. Either nothing is generated or I get the HTML code displayed in the output.

You can use the browse tool after table tool to view the data.

You need to use render tool to get the output. Normal output tool will not help.

Your attached workflow doesn't work because we don't have access to your Input data. To solve this, please export your workflow.

To export a workflow go to: Options > Export Workflow. Kindly do NOT send a "Save As" copy.

BTW @dhrathod is right. If you want to colour your data, you need to use the Reporting tools. Table tool first, then Render tool.
