Comb Through Folder/Subfolders Looking For Files By Type Or Name

Hey Alteryx fans, I'm back with another question.

Is there a macro, or a way to build a workflow, that will comb through a specified folder containing subfolders looking for, as an example, the existence of Excel files.  I need to make sure that a directory of of folders does or does not contain any Excel workbooks.  Thanks!!

The DIRECTORY tool has the option to search through directories and sub directories and get you a complete "DOS" listing of all files.  You can specify a "File Specification" of *.xls*

Your output will have all of your Excel files.
