Chart Of Accounts Conversions

New to Alteryx and I handle conversions.

I want to create a template/workflow I input data to and output the converted factor. Looking to relate multiple software charts of accounts that when one value(s) input for one program its output would produce the requested program-related output. Basically create a translation wizard that works in the background.

Hi @erykthomas77

Alteryx can certainly help with this. Do you have a specific question or issue you're running into?

@erykthomas77 If I am understanding this post correctly, I believe you are looking to build a chained analytical application.

Please see below for some helpful links to get your started.

@Luke_C

As a novice, I want to know the building blocks to get to that point to relate data so that the output produces a value no matter what is chosen.

For example:  If I upload data with words in French, "Bonjour," and I  set my output parameter to "English," the corresponding output data value words in English, "Hello." No matter what the output parameter or input data is, the corresponding dataset would produce the correct value for the parameter selected.

I understand joining data. I don't know how to relate data or create the above in Alteryx. The user mentioned chain analytics which I think would be helpful/useful.
