Chained App in Alteryx Gallery

When publish chained apps to the gallery, we publish the first workflow in the designer and ensure to package all subsequent chained workflows as assets. Our model app point to a temp workflow on interface designer option of “on success run another analytical app” and the temp workflow will change based on the user selection from app interface, This will enable the user to go back and forth through the filter selections.

Yes, this is a very useful feature that I use all the time.  A good use case is when you might have a list for a dropdown or listbox, and you want to limit that list based on the user (e.g., Tom only sees list items 1 and 2, Bill sees 3 and 4, etc.).  You can have your first app capture who the user is, and the 2nd app can update the list based on that user.
