Cannot insert more than 255 chars to SharePoint List

It seems the new SharePoint tool wont create a SharePoint List datatype of 'multiple lines of text' as I only seem to be able to insert 255 characters into a List.  I need to empty the list and then insert my new dataset every day, the old deprecated tool had an option, delete list and append but thats not available in the new tool.  In the new tool I need to use 'Overwrite (Update fields)' but it seems when inserting it then wont create the 'multiple lines of text' field type

@craigja what version of SharePoint Output Tool are you using? Does the Upsert option help in your scenario?

Not tried that - ut figured out if I change the column type to multi line and tell it to overwrite but keep the columns then it works

@craigja I always had trouble with outputting to SharePoint from Alteryx, the upset option was really funky. I started to look to using Power Automate to take care of the load to SharePoint option and use Alteryx to call the power automate flow then get the data from where power automate sent it. It’s not ideal but it worked smoother than using the SharePoint output tool.
