Can't access a file from Shared drive

Hello All,

I was able to launch an app in the Alteryx Gallery flawlessly in Alteryx Designer version 2021.4.

Our Alteryx server was recently upgraded from 2021.4 to 2022.1, and I'm now having trouble running the same process in the Gallery. The following is the error message:

The new server version shouldn’t have a bearing on workflows should it? the files need to point to the shared drive to be able to run in production but is there any other requirements? I see that the AMP engine is enabled by default, although it wasn't in the previous version.

How can I fix the issue?

Please help

Hello @EN6924

Have you checked to see if the file is open on someones local machine?

You can also try to disable the AMP engine in your workflow and retry but going into the runtime setttings of your workflow:

@EN6924  - Check the Run As user on the server.

It may be possible that with the upgrade, the Run As user was changed to a local account that will not have access to the shared drive.

Hi,

I can see it's enabled by default. Previously it was not there.

I have unchecked the options from Alteryx system settings and restarted the services.

Will it work now in the Gallery for all of the workflows just like before?

Hi,

From Alteryx System settings the option is deselected just like previous version's system settings -

In the Services page I configured it properly just like previous settings -
