Can Alteryx run Excel Macro's?

I have several Excel macros and would like to know if Alteryx can run the macros through it? Any suggestions or answers are greatly appreciated.

It is possible to run excel macros using a python script. I did this once before based on the stackoverflow solution linked below. Note if you plan to use this on the server your server will need excel installed.
