Can Alteryx Designer Desktop connect to Snowflake via PrivateLink?

Hi Alteryx Community,

 

I’d like to confirm whether Alteryx Designer Desktop can connect to Snowflake over a private endpoint (AWS PrivateLink), avoiding the public internet.

 

Questions

  1. Is PrivateLink connectivity officially supported for Designer Desktop → Snowflake via the Snowflake ODBC/JDBC driver?

  2. If yes, what are the required settings and known caveats (driver version, ports/OCSP reachability, DNS to the privatelink account URL, same-region constraint, auth methods such as user/password, key pair, SSO)?

  3. If we use Cloud Execution for Desktop (CED) to run the workflow in the cloud, does anything change for PrivateLink connectivity?
