Calculating variance of each month by ctry

I am trying to calculate the variance of each month (e.g. Current Month - Previous Month value) by having a new column called "Variance" within the country. How can I do it?

Snippet Example (Desired):

Timeline	Country	Cost	Variance
May 2021	Bangladesh	10259
Jun 2021	Bangladesh	12085	1826
