CTRL +F Find seems wonky

The Find (CTRL-F) feature returns extensive results but when I click any of them, they have nothing to do with my search term. I'll include an illustration. Can someone explain this? I cant figure it out. It always does this. It seems like it used to work a couple version updates ago. I am using version 2023.1.1.123

Hi @brwright

You can limit the scope of the search by not searching all:

Example search All Locations:

Find_1.jpg

Change to remove Column Names:

Find_2.jpg

And you will get filtered result.

Find_3.jpg

Thanks. However, the issue is it "finding" things anywhere that dont contain the search phrase at all.

As in extra things are being found or appearing when it has nothing to do with the search phrase? Just for my own curiosity can we see a better example?

@brwright It's not just searching the Configuration window, it's searching all the metadata of the tool. Somewhere in the metadata of all those tools, it finds the string 'Collateral Type'. As @Clifford_Coon says, it might be in the column names passing through the tool. Therefore, if you're just looking to search in the Configuration window, you'll want to limit the search like @Clifford_Coon suggests
