Bug/Error when importing a file with AMP disabled

Hi all,

I'm trying to import a simple file into Alteryx and I'm getting different results with AMP enabled (run without errors) vs AMP disabled (run with errors). The problem is, the server running the workflow is set to run with AMP disabled (enabling it is out of my control, the company is also using an old version of the server), so i really need this workflow to run with AMP disabled.

File Input:

SAMPLEFILE.png

Result after importing the file with AMP enabled:

RESULTAMPENABLED.png

Result after importing the file with AMP disabled:

RESULTAMPDISABLED2.png

1-Does anyone know the root cause of this error?

2-Does anyone know how to import this file - without doing anything too exotic - and with AMP disabled, without errors?

Thanks.

Your import settings were causing the errors. I made a few changes and got it to work. The changes my require additional parsing for data cleansing after it is brought in, but at least you aren't getting errors.

@SGolnik thanks for your input, but right now i am trying to avoid adding more tools to compensate for the fact that the input tool is not working properly with AMP disabled for this specific file. I isolated the problem to post here, so believe me, adding more tools to get around this specific and unexpected Alteryx bug would imply on not wanted changes in the rest of the workflow idea.
