Browse Tool Profile

Hi,

I am a little confused as to how the browse tool works. For example, I have 100 records in my dataset, but when I look at the Profile Summary of the Browse Tool it's only showing me that I have 11 records (see screenshot below)? Shouldn't the browse tool be looking across the entire population? For example, I'm expecting that I should be able to see out of 100 records, how many are NULL, Empty and OK and NOT OK.

Hi @PeterAP

In designer 2020.3 update, Data Profiling in the Browse tool is now capped at 300 MB.

Isn't this affecting it?

Thanks @AkimasaKajitani - yes that doe seem to be affecting it, as if I remove some of the fields, it will profile the entire data on the remaining fields.

However, on larger datasets - is there a way to see the profiling across all records using a different tool? - as I should be able to inspect the quality of the entire dataset.

Hi @PeterAP

You can use ”Basic Data Profile" tool.

Please try it.
