@BrandonB just to update that the login worked. I am just not a big fan of having the password that open to anyone to see.  I guess I can encrypt it somehow right?

Yep, to create a shareable connector most people will use the Alteryx Python SDK and create it in a way that encrypts the credentials: https://help.alteryx.com/developer-help/python-engine-sdk 

Alternatively, you could turn your workflow into an Analytic App and have a dummy value in there that gets updated when a user specifies the info.
