Assigning unique ID

Hi,

I am looking to assign a unique ID corresponding to unique 'cancer type' in the attached excel without loosing the duplicated rows of records. For example, all the 'Breast cancer' rows should have the same unique ID. Similarly, both the melanoma rows should have the same unique ID.

I can identify the unique rows using the 'Unique' function and assign ID to those using the 'Record ID' function but i loose the duplicated rows. How would i go about this in Alteryx desginer without loosing the duplicated rows?

Many thanks in advance,

Nairuti
