Apply RecordID on inbound and outbound airports leg

Hi everyone!,

I am trying to apply the same LaneID across the outbound route and the inbound route but I am struggling to find the right method. Can anyone help?

Current:

Leg	Origin	Dest
CPH-AMS	CPH	AMS
AMS-CPH	AMS	CPH
BCN-MXP	BCN	MXP
MXP-BCN	MXP	BCN
CDG-FCO	CDG	FCO
FCO-CDG	FCO	CDG

And requested to look like 

Leg	Origin	Dest	LaneID
CPH-AMS	CPH	AMS	1
AMS-CPH	AMS	CPH	1
BCN-MXP	BCN	MXP	2
MXP-BCN	MXP	BCN	2
CDG-FCO	CDG	FCO	3
FCO-CDG	FCO	CDG	3

Here is a workflow for the task.

Input: your table

Output: 

Workflow

Formula in Multi-row tool

IF [Dest]=[Row-1:Origin] 
THEN [Row-1:ID] 
ELSE [Row-1:ID]+1 ENDIF

I would suggest the Make Group tool will do most of the hard work:

It will work out the groups. A multirow formula can be used to make LaneIDs

This will work if destinations are unique - will get confused I expect if not!
