Append tool to Union tool does not work

Question

I have 2 Append tool going into a Union tool. 1 of the Append tool does not contain data due to the workflow. So I am always expecting to receive only one of them. They have same columns. The union tool after does not output anything.

Any idea about the why please?

Delete and add the tool again or use a browse tool after it 😅

Huge bug. When I put an output data tool after the append field I expect data from, I got the expected data in xls. But the union tool does not output anything...

Hi @delalma

It should work in this scenario. Please check and make sure output is definitively out of one of these append tools. If data is coming from either of the connection it should output data from union tool.
