Append existing option in output tool to append to top of sheet and not bottom

How do you get the append existing option in the output tool to append to the top of the sheet and not the bottom? I am appending a new row each week to an existing sheet but the workflow keeps appending to the bottom instead of making a new row at the top and appending there. How can I fix that?

It's my understanding that the append option only appends the new records to the bottom. Could you Input the data from the sheet, append the data to the top in the workflow, then re-write the entire sheet?

Can you help me with how do you append data to Existing file, I do not see that option in output data tool?

The ability to append will vary based on the file type. Not all file types have append writing supported in Alteryx.
