Append Tool giving incorrect Volume of records from 4 worksheets

Hi, I have 4 worksheets with standard column headings. The Append tool is consolidating the 4 worksheets but the total number of records should be 201,192 and Alteryx append is giving 201,692. Why can it not do a straight forward append of 4 worksheets with the same column headings and only 8 columns too

Did you do an analysis of the delta and see what the differences are? Shot in the dark guess - could be just rows that are null that had data previously but cleared the data out of excel

Thanks but I've stopped using Alteryx, think it's a dreadful tool Much prefer UIPath and powerBI. Feel Alteryx had potential but whoever set it up should have set it up better. I mean, to have to try and find why Simple actions like appending a couple of worksheets, is just absurd.

To each their own! I find it easy to use as do many others, and others may find they like other tools
