Anaplan Log File

Has anyone tried to use the Anaplan Tools to read the Anaplan log files before?  We have a need to read the Anaplan database log files and potentially export it using Alteryx and was wondering if Anaplan Tools could be used.  If not are there any other API out in marketplace that can do the job?
