Alteryx to Tableau - help updating dashboard with refresh

Question

Hi,

I am able to update my tableua "datsource" but when I try to refresh the dashboard itself using the refresh button, it does not reflect the latest data that should be in the newly updated datasource.

How can I link these 2?

I am using the "publish to tableau server" tool... and writing it as a tableau data extract field.

I can download the data source from tableau server, put it in a NEW tableau workbook and get the desired results... however the live refresh is not getting what I want..

Did this resolution solve your issue? I'm looking to have the same functionality and will probably run into this issue as well.

@wonka1234  I had a similar issue not too long ago where I had my data-source/Project name were not in correct place. Also One thing I did was disconnected and re-connected and that worked for me
