Alteryx app - Listbox - can I group the items within List Box?

Question

Hi all, I've been trying to group the items (there are over 20 items) within my List box into say 4 groups. Is there a way to do it? (So when user uses the app, the interface is Organised into 4 groups each containing several choices. Thank you!

Currently the Group Box function within Layout view does not allow me to do this. I was only able to put the Group Boxes around the different tools (ie. in between List Box and Text Box, but not grouping items within List Box selections.

Hey @yuqingh318 yes absolutely you just need to split the data before giving it to the drop down lists

Thanks for your help Ira. In this case, both Group 1 and Group 2 contains a, b and c. I'd like Group 1 to contain only a and b of the Drop down. And let Group 2 contain only c of the Drop down. Is this do-able?

You can create groups and expand them using a tick box for instance like this:

You can achieve this by creating a group here in the interface designer:
