Alteryx and Tableau Desktop Connection

Dear Community

I am looking for a solution how to integrate Alteryx and Tableau Desktop. I have both Alteryx and Tableau Desktop on my laptop and we don't have tableau server. I would like to connect to Alteryx through Tableau desktop which will see Alteryx output node as data source.

Node is a part of a cluster, which means you use Alteryx Server.

The best you can do is generate files (or write in a database) in Alteryx that Tableau Desktop can read.

Hi @kenan_turker - You can either write into any data source that Tableau can access, such as csv, xlsx, SQL etc. Alternatively, you can write into Tableau format. The above is possible using an Output Data tool: https://help.alteryx.com/20223/designer/tableau
