The in app "check for updates" always says I am up to date, even when I am not. I just manually updated to 2018.3.
I am running Alteryx on a Windows 10 VM via Parallels on an iMacPro running Mojave 10.14. I don't know if this is just a quirk or related to the VM.

I heard yesterday that this is because you are up to date for that point release.
I.e. 2018.2.1 will tell you if there is an upgrade to 2018.2.2, but not if there is an update to 2018.3
It definitely shouldn't be that way, but that is the way it is!

Experienced the same when troubleshooting for the Optimisation tool, was told I needed to install latest Alteryx updates.
I had the impression I had the latest updates on.

I took the extra step to check against recent releases. Realised there are actually new updates.
